The Project:

The Pranksters! Prankster Entertainment is producing the feature film The Prankster, a teen comedy/coming-of-age story. Based on an original screenplay by Tony Vidal, The Prankster will be a high-quality entertainment designed for theatrical release. The film plays to all ages and has a built-in target audience comprised of all 11-18 year-olds. With its "self-knowledge" theme, hilarious pranks and first love romance, The Prankster serves up an appealing story for all.

Our Mission:

Prankster Entertainment intends to use The Prankster to launch several other independent films in a variety of genres. The underlying purpose of our films is to enlighten as well as entertain. As a conscious media company, Prankster will escalate the size, ambition, and success of its projects with each step. We believe the general audience hungers for quality movies that expand awareness.

Written and to be directed by Tony Vidal, Masters graduate of USC Cinema and former head story analyst for Orion Pictures and The Ladd Company. Strategy for Success

Write a great low budget (2.5 million) script with universal appeal; create dynamite roles for talented up-and-comers and juicy smaller parts for available name actors; attract private investors who want a high return on their investment; raise additional capital (2.7 million) to fund distribution; make an astounding film.
